The Draulicht demo is three tracks of utterly malignant, despondent sludge. Absolutely punishing doom riffs coupled with tortured howls and dirges of feedback; this isn't some downtuned blues rock masquerading as doom metal. This is thoroughly miserable and abrasive sludge, in the vein of bands like Corrupted and Noothgrush. This breathes negativity.
Cassette limited to 50 copies.
An unfortunately final release from New-Zealand's Meth Drinker. A split of grind and sludge is sure to confuse your ears, but somehow is executed in tremendous fashion on this split. fuzzban
